In this spotlight we decided to feature Young Smalls aka Smalls, a Hip Hop artist out of the City of Roses. Smalls has been putting in work under his “Small Time Empire” movement for years now. He’s already known as one of the best barbers in the town, his aim is to to gain the same acclaim as a hip hop artist. Named for his small stature he delivers big bars on tracks. When asked about his inspirations this was his response.

“My inspiration come from my struggle, I learned how to format my raps in the 6th grade and after that it was a release for any positivity or negativity I was going through in my life from then until now. I listen to allot of artist in the industry but I always thought that could be me or should be, but just hip hop in general inspires me to just do me and share the gift I was blessed with with the people. I love to cut hair and use peoples heads as a canvas to do whatever I can think of and its the same with hip hop its an art and im an artist who can do anything with my music!!!”
