Congratulations to the Inner City Shine! Saturday I got to witness them win the NW 8 Man Football Championship. This could not have happened for a better guy than team owner, David “D2” Littleton. Fittingly the game was played at Portland’s Jefferson High School. A place where many of us learned what it meant to play for pride in our community and to do it with a chip on our shoulders.

They defeated a stacked Washington Xtreme team 66 – 28. Check out the video recap of the championship event.
